Kia Motors has emerged as the driving force behind the Korean motor vehicle for the last six decades, laying claim to the production of the country’s first automobile as well as Korea’s first automobile export. In 172 countries around the world with over 40,000 Kia employees. Rubidium provided voice control of a car head unit, in Korean. It was integrated into the Kia Carnival van and demonstrated to the president of Kia Motors in Seoul. We had commands in Korean like volume up, volume down, next track, previous track, radio, CD, power on, power off. Rubidium recorded different options for each command, so the instruction to the user was “say whatever you like” and our ASR would understand any form of speech the user selected.
